The Horizontal CNC Lathe is an automated machine tool engineered for high-precision turning operations, including inner holes, outer circles, conical surfaces, arcs, and threading. It is ideally suited for machining shaft and disc components, widely applied in steel and paper manufacturing industries, as well as for the maintenance of large-scale equipment.
Structural Features:
Robust Construction: The machine bed is manufactured from high-strength castings using resin sand molding, ensuring long-term stability and vibration damping.
Precision Drive System: The headstock is driven by a dedicated AC frequency conversion or servo spindle motor, delivering powerful and stable torque. Longitudinal (Z-axis) movement is driven via rack and pinion or ball screw, while cross (X-axis) movement employs a ball screw, with both axes powered by servo motors for accurate positioning.
Versatile Tailstock: Equipped with a separate motor for rapid movement, the tailstock can be configured with either a live or dead center to accommodate different workpiece requirements.
Control & Capabilities:
The lathe is operated via a CNC system, selectable according to customer preference. It capably performs a wide range of turning tasks and is compatible with carbide tools for powerful turning operations on various ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
